My background

I’ve wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl, always fascinated by the body and its incredible ability to heal. My journey into nursing became deeply personal when my grandmother-my inspiration and a nurse herself-was dying of lung cancer. I’ve wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl, always fascinated by the body and its incredible ability to heal. My journey into nursing became deeply personal when my grandmother-my inspiration and a nurse herself-was dying of lung cancer. I took the leap into nursing so she would know I was following in her footsteps before she was gone.

Over the past decade, I’ve cared for some of the most underprivileged populations, including the homeless, immigrants, veterans, and the uninsured, both in county hospitals and on medical missions to Haiti. My experience spans a wide range of chronic and acute diseases, such as congestive heart failure, renal failure, hypertension, stroke, diabetes, heart attacks, gastrointestinal issues, anxiety, mental illnesses, infectious diseases, sepsis, and wound care.

The core values that guide my life and work are compassion, holistic care, and a deep desire to connect with people on a meaningful level. I am passionate about helping others gain freedom from chronic illness, and I strive to make a lasting difference in every life I touch. I truly believe we were created to heal, and that with the right care, our bodies can thrive-not just survive.

How I got started

 Over the years working bedside, I saw the gaps in the healthcare system that were keeping people sick and frustrated. I felt like I was contributing to the problem by being part of the system and knew there had to be a better way. I wanted to do more than just manage symptoms-I wanted to help people truly heal and reclaim their health.

I wanted to do more than just manage symptoms-I wanted to help people truly heal and reclaim their health.

My journey took on new meaning when I personally faced several medical issues and injuries. My medical providers offered little hope for a future free of pain and disease, but I was not willing to settle for that. I always gravitated towards doing things more naturally and turned to this approach to find answers. I was determined to be fully present for my kids and to have the energy and mobility to play and keep up with my future grandkids.

As I trained to become a Board-Certified Nurse Coach, I began applying what I learned to my own life. I experienced firsthand the benefits of this holistic approach: more energy, greater peace, better mobility, a smaller waistline, improved gut health, and a stronger immune system.

Inspired by these changes, I founded Sustainable Wellness Coaching to help others make real, sustainable lifestyle changes that holistically improve their quality of life.

I believe strongly in the body’s innate ability to heal and in each individual’s freedom to choose what’s best for them. Together, we address root causes, explore lifestyle changes, manage stress, and boost energy-recognizing that every aspect of health is interconnected.

Through this partnership, clients often experience more energy, better disease prevention, fewer symptoms, reduced reliance on medications, less overwhelm, and sustainable weight loss. Our work together is about creating lasting, positive change for a healthier, more vibrant life.
